tonight will be the night, i'm going to make this right. i ran out the door so fast, they thought i wouldn't come back; back to the same three days over and over again. fraction of zero sum, ad infinitum: all the regret i keep, all the mistakes i dread, exhausted from oversleep, awake but still in bed, ashamed of the things i've said, afraid of what's in my head. so under this bridge i'll stay, and wait for the same three days to end.

Recently Lypurá contacted me giving a heads up on their á release. They told me they played with Karina Kvist this summer. All in all, this release has a concept professionally designed, both the recording and the artwork and stuff. Musically, this plays well to my ears, giving me me joy, sadness.            Enjoy.

Recently, well its been quite some time actually, PASTEL contacted me giving a heads up on their new album. L'Acchiappanuvole  is not your everyday release. It gives you intense and transcendental melodies, yet keeps you in context. Bands effort can be seen anywhere in this record. I must say this one is a keeper.

“The Cloudcatcher” (originally in italian “L'Acchiappanuvole”) is the first album for Pastel, originally born in 2013 as an instrumental duo; the band continued to evolve itself including vocals and lyrics strictly in italian. The album is a concept about a “leap into the void of ourselves” which symbolizes the present's elusiveness and it comes out “double dressed” having both instrumental and vocal version.

I must say, I'm a big fan of Suis La Lune. This one strikes me quiet well. Rather short in length, this has the classical Suis La Lune sound. Nothing extraordinarily new in this one, but gives me bands recent stuff to grind through the days. Cheers.

Wet Petals just released their new full length EP and it's rad!

This is well executed, passionate and sophisticated. My favorite track is Opium summer, it sounds rather fantastic with that midi-like twisted ending. 

Cascade also kicks in nice.

Edalene - Im Still Here (2015)

This one is Edalene's first EP, which is very promising. Seems like the band executed various mixed elements to show what they are capable of, weighing a little bit on the aesthetics side. 

Well produced at home, these 3 songs makes me wonder what direction the band will take on their next product, to steer away from the alike.
